This is a great set of 1910 chewing tobacco advertising cards produced by the Lorillard Tobacco Company. The Lorillard Tobacco Company was founded in 1760 in New York. After many changes in ownership and company name changes over the years, it went defunct in 2015. The tobacco cards were premiums, given inside chewing tobacco packages. This set of twelve different cards feature lovely women in varying stages of dress...some fully clothed and a few in their undergarments. Only one of the cards has a  partial Lorillard Tobacco Company logo and information. The backs on the others are blank. This was probably a two part glued card, with the backs peeled off by the previous owner. The lower right hand of the front of each card has the " 5 cent Ante Chewing Tobacco" logo. The cards are in very good condition, showing some dirt smudges and slightly rounded corners on a few, but no water damage or folds. These cards are in an antique frame. Each card measures 1 3/4"wide and 3 3/8" long. This set of 12 cards comes to us from a local estate which for many years was part of a historical home tour in Ouray, Colorado. A fabulous and collectible set!
